I grew up in Albemarle County, but moved away to live in West Virginia and in Maryland. I graduated from Coppin State University in 2000. I’ve been working with elementary students ever since. I taught in Baltimore City Public School System and worked in Louisa County Public School System as well. I found recently the most joy working in after-school programs in Louisa County and in EDEP. I have one teenage daughter and one Shih Tzu dog. I enjoy teaching children about new cultures, making connections and ways to be good citizens. The world is full of wonderful people and I love learning about them all.
I am excited to be the new Red Hill EDEP teacher assistant. I am married and have a beautiful 1 year old daughter. I grew up in Scottsville and attended Scottsville Elementary. Working with kids is something I have always wanted to do!
